Erica, this is your life

Fans of the daytime soap opera "All My Children" know all about Erica Kane (or with her married names, Erica Kane Martin Brent Cudahy Chandler).
As played by eight-time Daytime Emmy nominee (and non- winner) Susan Lucci, Erica is one of the soaps' most intriguing vixens, a fashion-conscious woman who stops at nothing to get what she wants.
Lately, though, Erica has had something else on her mind -- her unborn child by her current lover, Travis Montgomery. Complications have developed that could be fatal for both her and her baby.
On Friday and Monday (at noon on Channels 7 and 11), the soap will make what appears to be an all-out effort to get Lucci that elusive Emmy. Both days will be devoted only to Erica as the seriously ill woman recalls her past in dream sequences that take place as a movie being made on a Hollywood sound stage. One of her ex-husbands, Adam Chandler (David Canary), will be producer, and her father, Eric Kane (James Patrick Gillis), who deserted her as a child, will be director.
''AMC" is pulling out the stops for these episodes and bringing back five of Erica's long-lost friends and lovers, along with the original actors who played them. They are Nick Davis (Larry Keith), Brandon Kingsley (Michael Minor), Mike Roy (Nicholas Surovy), Jeff Martin (Charles Frank) and Phil Brent (Nick Benedict).
Says one fan, "Erica's a great character because you love to hate her and she's always up to something."
